Daniel Mawdsley
My journey into fitness began just over three years ago. Feeling self-conscious about my slim frame, I set out to build size—particularly in my arms and overall structure. I worked with a Personal Trainer, and during that time, I soaked up as much knowledge as I could. Those sessions sparked a genuine passion for training that hasn’t left me since.
That passion led me to pursue a Personal Training Apprenticeship, where I gained valuable experience, confidence, and a deeper understanding of exercise and technique. I experimented with different training styles on myself, learning how to adapt programs for individual goals—something that’s become a big part of how I now work with clients.
I’m now a qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer and Level 2 Gym Instructor, and one of the things I love most about this work is the ability to adjust and correct movement to suit each individual. There’s real satisfaction in helping someone unlock a new way of training that fits their body and goals—and seeing that confidence grow.
For me, the gym is more than a physical space; it’s an outlet—a way to support my mental wellbeing while pushing physical boundaries. I want to offer that same sense of escape and empowerment to my clients. Whether it’s guiding them through strength training or helping them feel at home in the gym environment, my mission is simple: build confidence, improve function, and make training something to enjoy, not fear.
